Juliette qualified as a Registered Midwife from Perivale (Ealing) Maternity Hospital  nearly forty years ago and went to have a rich, diverse and fulfilling career in all aspects of midwifery. She also has qualifications in Neonatal First Aid and Breast -Feeding Friendly Initiative and for many years was the named midwife for safeguarding children at Hillingdon Hospital

She has an extensive and unrivalled knowledge of maternity services gathered over a 36 year experience working in all areas of the specialty including antenatal services, labour ward, maternity triage, postnatal wards and community midwifery.

She  was at The Hillingdon Hospital NHS Foundation Trust for 19 years where she rose to become the Maternity Outpatients Manager. She oversaw the antenatal clinics and community midwifery teams that care for more than 4500 pregnant mothers and their babies yearly. She established an award-winning home births team and created an innovative specialist midwifery team to caseload women with complex social issues.

She was the Named Midwife for Safeguarding Children and  the Antenatal  Screening coordinator working closely with Public Health England to ensure antenatal screening and testing was conducted within guidance.

Her passion is to give women evidence-based information to enable them to make informed choices about their pregnancy, birth and after care. Her work ethos is based on the Better Birth Framework which provides a woman – centred, personalised and continuous care throughout pregnancy, birth and the postnatal period She will work closely with each individual family using her considerable expertise to understand their specific needs and in turn, offer them a bespoke service unique to their requirements.

Juliette is a mother of 5 grown-up children (including twins, and 2 home births). All her children were exclusively breast fed up to and beyond 6 months of age. In her spare time, she enjoys grandmotherly duties to her grandson, walking and exploring the local nature trails and going to the theatre.
